Attorney Griffith Moderates Discussion at InfusionLab

CONCORD, NH - Attorney Dodd Griffith, Esq., moderated a panel discussion on current trends in venture capital at the June 6 InfusionLab in Chelmsford, MA. The InfusionLab, winner of the Northeast Economic Developers Association Award of Excellence for 2001, is a quarterly forum for entrepreneurs and investors coordinated by MerchantBanc.

The event began with an welcome from MerchantBanc president Jeffrey M. Pollock, and was followed by introductory remarks from Gordon Baty of the Zero Stage Capital Company.

Attorney Griffith's panel featured three prominent venture capitalists from Boston area venture capital firms: D. Jarrett Collins, founder and managing director of NeoCarta Ventures, a firm targeting early to mid-sized technology companies; Harry J. Healer, Jr., co-founder of The Venture Capital Fund of New England and specialist on investing in the fields of information and industrial technology; and Jamie Rice of Zero Stage Capital Company, an expert on early stage investment opportunities in the IT/communications, Internet infrastructure and alternative energy sectors.

The seminar also featured keynote speaker, Craig R. Benson, co-founder of Cabletron Systems, as well as presentations by Ernst & Young; Commercial Venture Development, UMass Lowell; Granite Systems, Inc.; Amos Tuck Graduate School of Business; FuelSpot, Inc.; and e-Dialog.
