Attorney Jon Garon Film Financing Panelist at New Hampshire Film Expo
CONCORD, NH — Jon Garon, of counsel with Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, will be among the featured panelists at the New Hampshire Film Expo to take place October 12-15 in Portsmouth, NH.
Garon will participate in a panel discussion for filmmakers on financing of an independent film titled “Investments vs. Donations and Grants," presented by the New Hampshire Film and Television Office.
Attorney Garon is a nationally recognized authority on intellectual property, particularly copyright law, entertainment and media law, and is the author of The Independent Filmmaker's Law and Business Guide: Financing, Shooting, and Distributing Independent and Digital Films
He is also dean of the Hamline University School of Law of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Van McLeod, commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Cultural Resources, and executive producer/director of “Murals” and “Romanticizing the Violence” will moderate the panel.
