Pfundstein Weighs in on NH Premium Tax Reduction in The Standard's Coverage of the Bill
CONCORD, NH — Donald Pfundstein was quoted today in The Standard, New England's Insurance Weekly, in a March 24, 2006 article covering the passage by a House panel of the New Hampshire Premium Tax Reduction. Pfundstein responded to language that was added to the bill that would phase in the reduction over a 4 and a half year period by saying: "It makes more sense to do it that way, anyway. When phased in it seems to work nicely." He goes on to explain that it takes some companies time to decide to relocate to a new state and is hopeful that the bill will also pass the Senate.
