Attorney Cairns Moderates Panel at 18th Annual DRI Meeting

CONCORD, NH — R. Matthew Cairns, litigation attorney and firm shareholder at Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, was moderator at the 18th Annual Meeting of DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar held in Chicago October 16th – 20th. Cairns led a presentation entitled “Not Your Grandfather’s Law Firm.” Panelists Emily Lawrence (Managing Attorney – Litigation for Holland North America) and Michael DeLargy (CFO of SmithAmundsen LLC) addressed client expectations of law firms in today’s economic climate and how law firms can enhance client service and satisfaction while improving the firm’s efficiency and profitability.

Attorney Cairns heads up the litigation department at Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell. He is was the 2010-2011 president of DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar, the largest international organization of lawyers defending individuals and businesses in civil litigation.
