Attorney Bauer to Lead Civil Liability and Employment / Law Enforcement Training

CONCORD, NH — Attorneys Charlie Bauer, Beth Deragon and Samantha Elliott will be presenting a Civil Liability and Employment / Law Enforcement program at The First Annual Public Safety Trade Show sponsored by The NH Association of Chiefs of Police on Monday, September 26, 2011. Their presentation will be held from 8:30 am – 10:00 am, prior to the Trade Show from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and will cover arrest, detention, search, seizure and use of force as well as employment and internal investigations.

The Public Safety Trade Show will take place at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester. Admission to the Trade Show is free and open to the public. The Civil Liability and Employment / Law Enforcement program prior to the Trade Show is also free and open to law enforcement, though pre-registration is required. Attorney Bauer has counseled, represented and defended law enforcement individuals and agencies, correctional officers and facilities, and municipal officials throughout New Hampshire for 30 years. Charlie is one of the state’s foremost trial attorneys and mediators. Attorney Elliott's litigation practice is focused primarily on municipal defense in civil rights and employment litigation. She is also involved in business and commercial litigation, property rights disputes, and divorce work. Samantha is a graduate of Columbia Law School where she was a Stone Scholar. She received her bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from Colgate University.
