Beth Deragon Elected Shareholder-Director

CONCORD, NH —Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell is pleased to announce that Beth A. Deragon has been elected a Shareholder-Director of the firm.

Attorney Deragon counsels businesses on a variety of employment matters including providing anti-discrimination training, conducting internal investigation, drafting and reviewing employment contracts and employee handbooks, advising on wage and hour compliance and employee leaves of absence and counseling through all phases of the employer/employee relationship – hiring through layoff/termination and separation agreements.

An active member of the NH Bar Association, Deragon is chair of the Gender Equality Committee and vice chair of the Labor and Employment Law section. She is also a member of the Daniel Webster-Batchelder American Inns of Court, SHRM — Society for Human Resource Management, Human Resources Association - Greater Concord, and DRI — The Voice of the Defense Bar. She is a co-author of the NH chapter of the ABA's Employment at Will: A State-by-state Survey (BNA Books 2011), and writes the NH Employment Law Blog for Business.
