Herrick and Deragon Address Technology-Related Risks in the Workplace

CONCORD, NH —Attorneys Jeanne Herrick and Beth Deragon will speak at the annual conference of Primex3, the NH Public Risk Management Exchange, on the topic of identifying and managing risks arising from the use of technology in the work place, on May 20-21, in Bretton Woods, NH.

Attorney Deragon, an employment lawyer, and Jeanne Herrick a civil and employment litigation attorney, will join Primex General Counsel Michael Ricker, to discuss how email, texting, blogging, chat rooms, internet surfing, message boards, cell phones, and audio/video taping have impacted employer liability and workplace risk management. While these technologies and applications can make the performance of employees more efficient and effective, they can also result in employer liability when employees used unprofessionally. Deragon and Herrick will address ways for employers to identify and minimize such electronic liabilities.
