Kroll Moderates Panel Discussion at the BIA's 2010 Energy Seminar

CONCORD, NH — Heidi Kroll, a policy analyst in the Government Relations and Lobbying Group at Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, recently moderated a panel at the Business and Industry Association’s 2010 New Hampshire Energy Seminar. Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell was a sponsor and an exhibitor at the event.

The panel was comprised of representatives from the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority, the Retail Merchants Association, and the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. The panelists talked about various resources and programs available to help businesses mitigate their costs of energy, reduce and manage their energy use, improve their day-to-day operations, and enhance their environmental stewardship. Many programs and customer choices exist to address renewable power, demand response, energy efficiency, and competitive procurement.

The energy seminar, held on December 7th, focused on educating N.H. businesses about the many tools and options available to them to help manage their energy bills and meet NH’s future energy challenges. Invited speakers Dr. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, Dr. Susan Tierney, and PUC Chairman Thomas Getz spoke about the opportunities that the state has to address energy and environmental challenges.
