Attorney Cairns Presents on Leadership to Manchester Professionals

CONCORD, NH — R. Matthew Cairns, litigation attorney with Gallagher, Callahan and Gartrell and and immediate past president of DRI — The Voice of the Defense Bar, presented a talk on "A Different Take on Leadership and How Organizations Can Empower All Employees to Be Leaders" to the Manchester Works for Professionals networking event hosted by the New Hampshire Department of Employment Security.

Cairns discussed his views on the essential qualities of leadership – Self Awareness, Stewardship, Indifference, Empowerment and Love – and how they can be used in developing a better team approach to organizational success. His views on leadership are based on much reading as well as practical experience, including his leadership of DRI, the world's largest organization of lawyers defending individual and business interests in civil litigation.
