CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Bar Association’s Gender Equality Committee, chaired by Attorney Beth Deragon of Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, P.C., presents findings and analyses of its latest 10-year follow-up to the Women in the Profession survey in the Summer 2010 issue of the New Hampshire Bar Journal. While some advancements are noted, the survey indicates that "optimism is slipping" among female attorneys and their participation in law firm management has not grown.
A number of articles on the topic, written by members of the NH Women's Bar Association, highlight these issues, including the Introduction authored by Attorney Deragon and the Ten-Year Gender Survey: An Overview of The Last Twenty Years co-authored by Attorney Deragon and Attorney Danielle Pacik.
