CONCORD, NH — Attorneys Charles Bauer, Jeanne Herrick and Beth Deragon were invited to speak about the latest developments in legislation and case law as they relate to school, employment, police and corrections liability. Attorneys Bauer, Herrick and Dragon shared their practical insights and recent experiences during an interactive panel discussion at the 2010 Annual Conference hosted by the NH Public Risk Management Exchange (Primex3), May 12-13. Primex General Counsel Michael Ricker, Esq. and Primex Claims Manager Tammy Denver moderated the panel and facilitated audience participation. The two-day conference was geared toward providing Primex3 members and guests with strategies and solutions for managing the impacts of the new legal reality on organizations and the work place.
Attorney Bauer has been practicing law in New Hampshire for over thirty years. Charlie is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) and AV-rated in Martindale-Hubbell. As one of New Hampshire’s foremost trial attorneys and mediators, Charlie concentrates his practice in the areas of civil rights litigation, private mediation and arbitration, employment litigation, and other complex civil litigation in federal and state courts and administrative agencies. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and University of Baltimore School of Law.
Attorney Herrick represents clients in civil litigation in state and federal courts as well as before administrative agencies. Jeanne's litigation practice ranges from representing governmental entities in civil rights and municipal liability litigation to representing contractors in construction disputes to representing businesses in employment matters. She holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of New Hampshire and is a graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center.
Attorney Deragon advises business clients on a variety of employment issues from hiring, discipline, termination, anti-discrimination, harassment, wage and hour compliance, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, leaves of absence, work place privacy, non-competition agreements, reductions-in-force, and separation agreements to immigration matters. Beth also represents clients in NH Department of Labor audits and in unemployment compensation claims. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, received her master of arts degree with honors from the University of Birmingham, UK, and is a graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center.
