Attorney Cairns Speaks at National USLAW Conference On “Red Flags” for Professional Liability

CONCORD, NH — R. Matthew Cairns, litigation defense attorney with Gallagher, Callahan and Gartrell is an invited speaker at the Fall 2011 USLAW Network Client Conference and will be discussing issues regarding “red flags” for professional liability attorneys and clients. Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell is a member of USLAW Network, which provides the firm’s clients with national access to some of the best trial lawyers in the United States and Europe.  The conference will be held in Chicago September 22nd – 24th.

Attorney Cairns represents the interests of individuals, insurers, manufacturers, transportation and other companies in diverse commercial, complex and traditional litigation matters in all state and federal courts and state agencies. Cairns serves as general counsel to several closely held businesses in New Hampshire and is also experienced in general corporate and municipal representation, and risk management training. He has been named a "Super Lawyer" for products liability defense for the past 3 years and is also selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012 in the field of Personal Injury Litigation.

Since 1996, Cairns has been an active member, award recipient, and leader of DRI. Before becoming DRI’s president, Matt served a one-year term as DRI’s president-elect, and previously was DRI’s first vice president. Prior to that, he was the northeast regional director overseeing DRI initiatives in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Cairns was also the DRI state representative for New Hampshire and received the organization’s State Leadership Award From 2006-2008, He served as the First Circuit editor for DRI's Daubert On-Line newsletter.
