A new tax law requires immediate changes to a wide range of compensation arrangements including severance agreements, SERPs, "defined benefit" on qualified plans, as well as arrangements with directors and trustees.
COMMENTARY
The NAIC model designed to increase transparency and disclosure about compensation payments in the sale of insurance has laudable goals, but the devil is in the details.
