• Represent clients in environmental permitting and appeal processes before the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, the New Hampshire Department of Justice and state and federal courts.
   
• Counsel clients on state and federal compliance with environmental laws, including shoreland developments, wetlands, docking rights, water treatment and the reporting and clean up of hazardous waste and oil spills.

• Represent clients in the New Hampshire Administrative Rules process, including negotiation of the new rules allocating NOx allowances and new water quality standards.
   
• Represent clients' interests in legislative and regulatory activities affecting environmental issues. This includes development of laws regarding air pollution trading programs, water quality issues, and environmental regulation of electric power facilities, stationary manufacturing facilities and aggregate production.
