CONCORD, NH — On July 15th, Attorney Ari Pollack joined fellow members of the National Association of Home Builders’ Legal Action Committee to discuss and recommend priorities for use of NAHB’s Legal Action Fund. Grants from the Fund are used to assist state and local Associations and their members who are involved in cases of national and regional significance to the housing industry. The Legal Action Fund is a member benefit used to help shape legal precedent across the country.
Priorities for the upcoming budget cycle will include: land use approvals, impact fees, stormwater and wetland issues, insurance exclusions, and new practices in the appraisal industry relative to distressed sales. These priorities will help guide the Legal Action Committee when it considers member applications for funding.
Ari Pollack represents business, land use development, and environmental clients on a variety of land use permitting, environmental, and litigation matters. Through Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, Attorney Pollack is an active member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire and the NAHB, and serves on the NAHB’s Legal Action Committee and Legal Action Network for Development Strategies (LANDS).
