GCG and Stephen Eldridge & Co. to Host Summer CPE for CPAs
CONCORD, NH — On Wednesday, June 17th, Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell and Stephen Eldridge & Company will host a summer Continuing Professional Education session for Certified Public Accountants. The theme of the session is “Challenges Facing Small Business in Today’s Economy — Employment, Taxes and Retirement Plans.”
Attorneys from GCG and financial experts Sean Riley and Craig Garner will cover topics including:
- Severance package issues
- New COBRA premium subsidy requirements
- State & federal tax legislation update
- Challenges of administering retirement plans when reducing workforce
- Fiduciary liability and best practices for plan sponsors.
The CPE session will be held from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, followed by a networking lunch, at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester, NH. Attendees will earn four (4) hours of New Hampshire or Massachusetts CPE credits.
