GCG Attorneys Lead Top Ten Business Lessons for Filmmakers at New Hampshire Film Festival
CONCORD, NH — Business and entertainment attorney Jon Garon will be among the featured panelists at the New Hampshire Film Festival taking place October 15th – 18th in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Garon will participate in a panel discussion for independent filmmakers titled “The Top Ten Legal and Business Choices for Independent Filmmakers,” presented by the New Hampshire Film and Television Office. This panel will identify and highlight the most important lessons for an independent filmmaker, including such topics as entity structure, financing, fundraising, rights agreements, cast, insurance, distribution, music, and others. The panelists will share their “must list” for producing the successful independent film.

He regularly provides financing, production and distribution counseling for independent filmmakers, musicians, artists and entrepreneurs. He also assists businesses with technology, privacy and security compliance, intellectual property protection, licensing arrangements, employment agreements, strategic business development, and general corporate matters.
