GCG Welcomes Attorney Emily Goering

CONCORD, NH — Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell is pleased to welcome Attorney Emily Goering as an Associate with the firm’s transactional and litigation teams.  Emily’s practice focuses on a variety of transactional and litigation issues that concern property and real estate development.  She has a particular focus in the areas of eminent domain, construction disputes, public infrastructure, and complex real estate conveyancing.  Emily’s unique experience as a litigator and transactional attorney allow her to provide comprehensive representation during all stages of a client’s project or dispute.

Before joining the firm, Emily worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the New Hampshire Attorney General.  She worked within the Transportation & Construction Bureau, handling all litigation and legal counseling needs for the Department of Safety, Department of Transportation, and Division of Public Works.  Emily has successfully represented the State in litigation before the Federal Court for the District of New Hampshire, New Hampshire District, Superior, and Supreme Courts, and various administrative adjudicative bodies.

Emily gained her juris doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern Maine.  While in law school, Emily worked as an intern for the Environmental Bureau at the Office of the New Hampshire Attorney General, the New Hampshire Office of the United States Trustee, and in the UNH Law Consumer Protection Clinic.  She returned to UNH Law for two semesters as an adjunct professor teaching Legal Analysis and Writing to first year law students.

Emily is admitted to practice in the State and federal courts of New Hampshire and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
