GCG Welcomes Attorney Katie Mosher

CONCORD, NH — Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell is pleased to welcome Attorney Katie Mosher as an Associate with the firm’s litigation team.  Katie’s practice focuses on state and federal litigation, including employment law, municipal law, healthcare, medical malpractice defense, civil rights litigation, and land use or property disputes. She serves her clients by resolving disputes through court proceedings or alternative dispute resolution. Katie’s diverse practice enables her to bring a broad range of experiences to better serve her clients.

Katie worked at a regional New Hampshire-based law firm. During law school, Katie worked as a legal intern for the Hillsborough County Superior Court (Northern District), New Hampshire Legal Assistance, Catholic Charities of New Hampshire (Immigration Legal Services), and the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration. Prior to law school, Katie worked for Concord’s only independent movie theater, Red River Theatres, and spent ten months traveling the country and serving communities impacted by disaster as a Corps Member in the AmeriCorps NCCC – FEMA Corps program.

Katie graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in International Relations and Russian studies, with a minor in European History, from Wheaton College. Katie presented her Senior Honors Thesis at Harvard University’s Russian Studies Undergraduate Colloquium. At Wheaton, Katie received the Abbey McClosky ’92 Memorial Prize in International Relations, and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.

At UNH Law, Katie was Daniel Webster Scholar, a Rudman-Peterson Fellow, and a Senior Editor for the UNH Law Review. Katie served as a Teaching Assistant for both the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors’ Pretrial Advocacy course, and the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors’ Dispute Resolution course. Katie’s peers elected her as the President of the Student Bar Association, and she also served as the President of the Women’s Law Student Association. Katie volunteered for the U.S. District Court of N.H.’s educational outreach program, and worked at UNH Law as a Campus Security Officer.

In addition to her practice, Katie is very involved in her community, including: Board member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association, where she is Chair of the Programming Committee; a Community Advisor Board member for New Hampshire Public Radio; Steering Committee Member of Concord Young Professionals Network; member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s New Lawyers Committee; Member of the Tri-State Lawyers Defense Association; and Member of the Daniel Webster-Batchelder American Inn of Court. Katie was also selected to be part of the 2023 Leadership Greater Concord class.

Katie is admitted in the State of New Hampshire and the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
