Michael Callahan Reappointed to NH Court Accreditation Commission

CONCORD, NH — Attorney Michael Callahan was recently reappointed to the New Hampshire Court Accreditation Commission by the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Callahan, a founding member and shareholder–director at Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, will serve as the lawyer representative on the commission. The statute creating the commission provides that one of its members shall be “a lawyer of experience in the trial of cases at all court levels.”

The commission is charged with prescribing minimum standards for all courts, reporting recommendations for improvements to court facilities and determining whether or not various facilities are accredited.

Callahan, who has tried a wide variety of cases in all courts throughout the state, has been recognized as one of New Hampshire’s “Best Lawyers” as well as a New England Super Lawyer. He is a fellow of the International Society of Barristers and the American College of Trial Lawyers. Callahan has also served as an adjunct professor of business law at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
