Ben is an attorney with the firm’s litigation team. His practice focuses on municipal defense in civil rights litigation, defense of medical malpractice claims, business and commercial disputes, and property disputes.
Before joining Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, P.C., Ben gained valuable experience in a Lakes-region law firm, where he handled a wide variety of cases. Ben is a skilled negotiator and helped a past client win at jury trial while serving as second chair.
Ben graduated magna cum laude from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he was a Daniel Webster Scholar.
While in law school, Ben interned with New Hampshire Supreme Court Associate Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi. During law school, Ben worked as a law clerk for a number of New Hampshire law firms, where he was exposed to various civil disputes in the areas of personal injury, commercial litigation, and property claims.
In his second year of law school, Ben successfully made the moot court team, where he competed in the Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition held at Touro Law. In his final year of law school, Ben served as an Advisory Board Member for the UNH Law Moot Court Program and worked as a teaching assistant for the Daniel Webster Scholar Alternate Dispute Resolution course.
Ben earned his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from Franklin Pierce University, where he studied criminal justice and history, and served as captain of the men’s golf team. Between college and law school, Ben worked in the insurance industry as an arbitration specialist, where he represented insurance companies in various coverage and liability disputes. This experience aided Ben in helping him understand the evaluation of insurance claims, and exposing him to the intricacies of the insurance industry.
Ben is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of New Hampshire.
