Keelan Forey is a member of the firm’s litigation team. Keelan’s practice concentrates on civil rights, employment, medical malpractice defense, and municipal law matters. She represents businesses, municipalities, counties, and government agencies in state and federal court proceedings, including counseling clients on achieving compliance with Right-to-Know Law and the Exculpatory Evidence Schedule (EES). Keelan has represented clients in litigation before every New Hampshire state court (Supreme, Superior, and District), the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
Keelan Forey has been selected to the New England Rising Stars® list for Civil Litigation for 2023 and 2024.
Before joining GCG, Keelan worked at a large New Hampshire law firm. During law school, she worked as a legal intern at the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire and at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to law school, Keelan worked in hospital administration at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Keelan graduated cum laude from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and earned her bachelor of science, cum laude, in health management and policy from the University of New Hampshire. At UNH Law, she was a Daniel Webster Scholar, an editor of the UNH Law Review, and, in addition to her J.D., received a Certificate in Health Law and Policy.
In addition to her practice, Keelan is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association, where she is also a member of the Public Relations and Networking Committees.
Keelan is admitted in New Hampshire, the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals.
