CONCORD, NH — New Hampshire Attorney Donald J. Pfundstein has been named as Concord’s 2022 “Lawyer of the Year” for Government Relations by Best Lawyers®, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.
Pfundstein focuses his practice on the regulated industries, and frequently appears before executive agencies including the NH Insurance Department and NH Public Utilities Commission. He also has extensive experience representing clients before the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Committee and the New Hampshire Legislature.
Pfundstein has been listed in Best Lawyers since 2005 and is recognized in the following practice groups in the 2022 edition:
- Administrative / Regulatory Law
- Banking and Finance Law
- Energy Law
- Financial Services Regulation Law
- Government Relations Practice
- Insurance Law
This is the fourth time Pfundstien has been named “Lawyer of the Year” for Government Relations. He earned the same distinction in the 2013, 2016, and 2018 editions, and he was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Insurance Law in the 2017 and 2020 editions.
Best Lawyers began designating “Lawyers of the Year” in the U.S. in high-profile legal practice areas in 2009. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year,” making this accolade particularly significant.
The lawyers honored as “Lawyer of the Year” have received particularly high ratings in Best Lawyers surveys and exhaustive peer-review assessments conducted with thousands of leading lawyers each year. Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among their peers for their abilities, professionalism, and integrity.
